Hey, quick question for you. I was looking at that recipe you sent me last week and finally tried it out. I swapped the chicken for tofu and added a bit more ginger than it called for. Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected. The sauce was really thick and coated everything nicely. I served it over some jasmine rice and topped it with green onions. Let me know if you want the tweaked version I wrote down. Also, I finished that book you lent me. The pacing was a bit slow in the middle, but the ending completely caught me off guard. I can drop it off this weekend if you're around. I've been thinking about starting that documentary series you mentioned, the one about ancient architecture. Is it actually engaging or more of a background noise type of show? Let me know what you think. I'm also free next Tuesday evening if you want to grab something to eat. I know a spot that does really good Korean corn dogs if you're interested.

I was talking to my neighbor earlier and she mentioned that her hydrangeas are finally blooming after she moved them to a spot with more morning sun. I might have to try that next season because mine have been looking a little sad for the past couple of years. I also started experimenting with fermenting my own hot sauce. It's surprisingly easy. You just need salt, water, and whatever peppers you have lying around. I did a batch with habaneros and garlic and it came out super bright and tangy. Let me know if you want a bottle, I have way more than I can use. On a completely different note, I've been trying to learn how to play the ukulele. It's a lot of fun but my fingers are definitely not used to the strings yet. I found a bunch of tutorials online that break down popular songs into just a few chords. I can almost play a full song without stopping now. It's a nice way to unwind after work.
