I was looking at your photos from the weekend trip to the botanical gardens. The orchids were incredible. I've been trying to keep my fiddle leaf fig alive, but it's dropping leaves like crazy. I heard they need really consistent watering and indirect light. Maybe I'll try moving it away from the window. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. Let's plan that hiking trail visit soon. Also, I finally got around to organizing my home office. It took the entire weekend, but it feels so much better. I can actually think clearly now.
Let me know what time works best for you next Saturday. I am free most of the afternoon. We could grab a coffee before heading out if you want to. Talk soon.

Just finished watching that documentary on deep-sea exploration. The footage of the bioluminescent creatures was absolutely mesmerizing. I had no idea how much of the ocean was still completely unmapped. It reminded me of that book we read last year about oceanic trenches. Let me know if you have any other documentaries to recommend. I'm on a nature and science kick right now. Hope you're having a good week. I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me. It turned out really well despite my lack of cooking skills.
Also, I have been thinking about adopting a cat from the local shelter. There is a little gray one that has been there for a few months. I might go meet it this weekend. Any advice for first-time cat owners?
