Hey, I finally got around to repainting the guest room this weekend. I went with a soft sage green—it came out way better than I expected. The prep took longer than the actual painting though. Had to patch a few holes and sand down some rough spots. I used a matte finish and it really hides the imperfections. I still need to decide on new curtains. Maybe something light and airy. Anyway, the room looks completely different now, much more inviting. If you ever need painting tips, let me know. I think I’m getting the hang of it.

Oh, also tried a new recipe for lemon chicken last night. It was tangy and the skin got super crispy. I added a bit of thyme and garlic. Served it with roasted potatoes. My family loved it. I’m thinking of making it again next week but maybe adding some capers. Let me know if you want the recipe link.

I’m still debating whether to go with warmer bulbs in the living room. The current ones are too cool and make everything look sterile. I might switch to 2700K LEDs. Have you tried those? They’re supposed to be more flattering.
