Hey! Totally forgot to reply to this earlier. The hike was incredible. We ended up taking the longer trail around the lake and saw a ton of wildlife. There were these really cool birds I've never seen before. I'll send you some pictures when I get them off my camera. Let me know if you want to join next time, I know you've been wanting to check out that area. We're planning to go back in a couple of weeks maybe. Anyway, hope you're having a good week and getting outside too. The weather has been perfect for it. Talk later! Oh, also, I finally started that book series you recommended. I'm about halfway through the second one and I'm completely hooked. The plot twists are insane. I can't believe you didn't spoil anything when you were telling me about it. I just got back from the workshop and it was way better than I expected. The instructor was super knowledgeable and took the time to walk through each step slowly so nobody got lost. I picked up a few new techniques that I'm excited to try out on my own projects. You should really consider signing up for the next one if your schedule allows. I think they offer it once a month. The materials were all included too, which was a nice bonus. I'll send you a photo of what I made. It's not perfect but I'm pretty proud of how it turned out for a first attempt.
