Oh yeah, the trail was pretty packed this weekend. We started early around 6 AM but the parking lot was already half full. The weather held up nicely though, only a light drizzle around noon. We brought sandwiches and ate near the summit. Saw a few deer off the main path. Honestly, the best part was the lack of mosquitoes compared to last month. Let me know if you want the exact route we took, I saved it on my phone. I'm thinking of going again next Saturday if the forecast stays clear.

I finally tried that sourdough recipe you sent me. It took way longer than expected, probably because my kitchen is a bit cold. The first rise was about 14 hours. It turned out pretty decent though, nice crust and a good chew. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top. The kids ate half a loaf before dinner even started. I'll bring you a slice tomorrow if I can stop myself from eating the rest for breakfast.
