I started taking guitar lessons last month and it's been a lot more fun than I expected. My instructor is really patient and we're working on chord progressions right now. I can already play a few songs badly but it makes me happy. I practice about 20 minutes a day and sometimes I just strum randomly which my cat seems to enjoy oddly enough. She sits right next to the amp and purrs. I'm hoping by summer I can play something around a campfire without people covering their ears. Anyway just wanted to share that little update since you asked about hobbies. Let me know if you have any tips for finger exercises because my pinky is definitely struggling with the stretches.

So the other night I ordered takeout from that new place downtown and they completely misread my order. I asked for a chicken sandwich with no onions and extra pickles and what arrived was a veggie burger with extra onions and no pickles. I was so confused but also hungry so I just ate it anyway and honestly it was pretty good. I think the universe was trying to tell me something about my dietary choices. My roommate thought it was hilarious and took a picture of me looking confused holding the receipt. We're still laughing about it. I guess I'll have to be more specific next time or just stick to cooking at home which I should probably do more often anyway.
