Hey, I just got back from that weekend hike we talked about! The trail was absolutely breathtaking. We started early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the summit. It was totally worth the 5 AM wake-up call. The air was so crisp and fresh. I saw a family of deer near the campsite. I took a ton of photos to show you. We should definitely plan the next one together. Maybe we can try that coastal trail next month. I heard the views are even better. Let me know what you think!

So I finally decided to try baking bread from scratch. It was a bit of a mess, honestly. I got flour all over the kitchen counter, and I think I added too much yeast because it rose like crazy! But the smell of freshly baked bread filled the whole house, and it actually tasted pretty good. I brought a loaf to our neighbors and they loved it.
