Hey, I finally got around to repotting that monstera you gave me. It had completely outgrown its container and the roots were starting to circle the bottom pretty tightly. I went with a ceramic pot about two sizes up and mixed in some perlite to help with drainage and aeration. Fingers crossed it settles in without too much shock or drooping leaves. Yours looks like it's thriving in that corner by the window, so I'm hoping mine follows suit soon. I also picked up a small grow light for the darker months since the light in my apartment isn't always ideal. Let me know if you want to swap cuttings later this summer, I'm planning to propagate a few pothos varieties too.

Anyway, let me know what you think about the setup next time you're over.

I signed up for that pottery class I was telling you about. The first session was mostly just an introduction to the wheel and centering the clay, which is way harder than it looks on social media. Most of my attempts ended up as lopsided blobs, but the instructor said that's completely normal for the first few tries. There's something really meditative about it though, just focusing on the pressure and the motion. I can see why people get hooked. By the end of the month I'm hoping to have at least one decent bowl to show for it. You should totally join the next beginner session with me, I think you'd really enjoy the hands-on aspect of it.

Let me know what you think!
