I was telling my neighbor about that landscaping project we talked about and he offered to help with the heavy lifting next weekend. The weather should be good for it and I think we can get most of the work done in one day if we start early. I already picked up some of the supplies from the local garden center and they were having a sale on perennials which worked out nicely. We still need to decide on the layout for the front beds but I sketched a few ideas that I can show you when you get a chance. The kids are excited about planting some vegetables in the back corner and I think that will be a fun project for them to follow through the summer. Let me know if Saturday works for you or if another day would be better. I can also pick up the remaining materials if you send me the list. Hey, I finally got around to reading that book you recommended last month. I was skeptical at first because the genre is not usually my thing but I ended up really enjoying it. The pacing was solid and the main character had a lot of depth which kept me turning pages. I finished it in about a week reading mostly in the evenings. I have already passed it along to my sister because I think she will like it too. Let me know if you have any other suggestions along those lines. I am always looking for something new to dive into. Also I wanted to ask if you have seen the new documentary series about marine life that just dropped. I caught the first episode and thought it was beautifully shot. The narration was a bit slow at times but the footage more than made up for it. Let me know if you have watched it yet or if it is on your list.
