I finally got around to reorganizing the garage last weekend. It took way longer than I expected because I kept finding old photos and random keepsakes from college. My wife came out and asked if I was actually throwing anything away or just creating neater piles. I sent her a picture of the before and after and she said it looked the same to me. Honestly she might be right.
Anyway I was telling my coworker about it and he suggested renting a storage unit but I think that would just delay the inevitable. We ended up talking about that new coffee shop downtown instead. He said their cold brew is incredible but the pastries are hit or miss. I might try it this weekend if I can find time between errands.
Have you ever tried making sourdough from scratch? I attempted it during the winter and it turned out like a brick. My neighbor said I needed to feed the starter more often but I kept forgetting. Maybe next time.

I finished that book you recommended last night. The ending totally caught me off guard – I thought the main character was going to choose the other side. My friend and I debated it for an hour at dinner. She said it was too predictable but I think she missed some of the subtle clues early on.
On a completely different note have you been to the new farmers market on Saturdays? They have the best honey I have ever tasted. I bought two jars last week and one is already almost gone. The guy selling it said his bees are from a local apiary and they only forage on wildflowers. Makes sense why it tastes so floral.
Anyway I was telling my neighbor about it and now she wants to go together next week. Might also pick up some fresh basil for pasta. Let me know if you want me to grab you a jar.
