I was just thinking about that hike we did last weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot and the trail wasn't muddy at all. I'm glad we packed extra water though. I ended up using that new backpack I bought and it was surprisingly comfortable even with all the weight. Let me know if you want to borrow it for your trip next month. I can drop it off sometime next week if that works.

Oh, I also tried that pasta recipe you sent me. It turned out really well! I added a bit more garlic than it called for. The sauce was creamy but not too heavy. I'll definitely make it again. Let me know if you have any other good recipes.

Also, are we still on for coffee on Saturday? I'm free in the morning. Let me know what works for you. Hope you're having a great week so far. Talk soon!

I finished reading that book you recommended, the one about the artist in Paris. The first few chapters were a bit slow for me, but by the middle I was completely hooked. The way the author described the streets and the studios made me feel like I was there. I'm going to look for more books by that author. Have you read anything else by them? I'd love some more recommendations.

Also, I think I'm going to start that documentary series we talked about. I'll let you know how it is. Maybe we can watch the next one together if you're interested.

I also started sketching again. It's been years since I really sat down and drew anything serious. I found an old sketchbook and some pencils in the closet. It's honestly pretty relaxing just to draw for fun without any pressure. I might try to do a little bit each evening.

Anyway, hope you're doing well. Let me know if you want to grab dinner this weekend. I'm free Saturday night. Talk to you soon!
