I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. It took me a while to get into it but by the third chapter I was hooked. The way the author describes the landscape really makes you feel like you're there. I found myself staying up way too late trying to finish just one more chapter. I can see why you thought I'd like it. There's something about the pacing that really works for me.
