I think we should go with the larger venue for the October event. The smaller one felt cramped last time and people were sitting on the floor. I checked the budget and we have enough to cover the rental if we cut back on the printed program — we can use a digital version instead. Also, we need to finalize the speaker list by next Tuesday. Let me know if you want me to reach out to Dr. Martinez again. She was interested but had a scheduling conflict. I can ask her assistant for updated availability. The committee meets Thursday so I need the list by end of day Wednesday to prepare handouts.

I checked the records from the last quarterly report and the increase was about 12% year over year. That’s mainly due to the new membership drive in March. However, the drop in the West region was unexpected — maybe related to the outreach efforts there. I think we should look at the demographics more closely. Also, could you send me the Excel file with the breakdown by age group? I want to run some quick comparisons. The next board meeting is on the 15th, so I’d like to have a draft ready by the 10th at the latest. Let me know if you need any additional data from the database.
