I finally started watching that documentary series about the deep sea explorers. The footage is incredible, especially the parts where they go down to the hydrothermal vents. It's wild to think there are entire ecosystems down there that we knew nothing about until a few decades ago. The narrator has a very calming voice too, which helps because some of the deep sea creatures are honestly terrifying looking. I've been watching one episode a night with dinner. It's a nice way to wind down instead of doom-scrolling. Have you seen it yet? I think you'd really enjoy the cinematography. There's a part about the history of sonar mapping that is surprisingly engaging. Anyways, let me know what you're reading or watching lately, I need more recommendations that aren't just the usual algorithm stuff. I'm always looking for a good podcast series too if you have any favorites you are into right now.
