Oh yeah, I totally agree with you about the trail mix recipe. I tried it last weekend actually and swapped out the almonds for pecans because that's what I had on hand. It turned out really well. The key is definitely toasting them first before mixing everything together. Have you ever tried adding a little bit of dark chocolate? Not too much, just a few chips. It gives it a nice little something extra without making it too sweet. Anyway, I'm planning to bring some on my hike up to Cathedral Lake next month. I've heard the views are incredible this time of year, especially right after the snow melt. Should be a challenging but rewarding day. Let me know if you want to join, I can always use more company on the trail. I'll bring the snacks and maybe even try that new energy bar recipe you mentioned last week. It looks really straightforward and I love that it uses natural ingredients like dates and oats. Perfect for a long day outdoors. Just let me know what you think.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended, the one about the history of modern architecture. Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd be that into it at first, but it's surprisingly engaging. The chapter on the Bauhaus movement was really fascinating. It's amazing how much of our current design language comes from that era. I also started looking up some documentaries on the same topic on YouTube and found a great one about Frank Lloyd Wright. It's a total rabbit hole. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for the suggestion. If you have any other books in that vein, send them my way. I'm always looking for something good to read on my commute. By the way, did you end up seeing that new exhibition at the modern art museum downtown? I heard it features a lot of emerging artists from South America. I was thinking of checking it out this weekend if the weather holds up. Let me know if you want to come along.
