I’m not sure if I mentioned it before, but we had a really nice time at the lake last weekend. The water was perfect and we finally tried paddleboarding. My cousin brought his dog and it was hilarious watching it try to balance on the board. We ended up staying until sunset, which is honestly the best part of the whole trip. I think you would have loved it. We should plan something like that again soon. Maybe next time we can grill out too. I’ll bring my famous potato salad and we can figure out the rest. Let me know when you’re free. It’s been way too long since we all just hung out with no agenda.

I told you about that new coffee shop that opened downtown right? The one with the little garden patio in the back. I stopped by yesterday and it’s actually really nice. They have a lavender latte that is surprisingly good and not too sweet. The vibe is very low key and the staff are super friendly. I sat there for almost two hours just reading and sipping. It reminded me of that tiny place we went to in Portland. Anyway you should come with me next time. I think you’d like the atmosphere. And they have these little almond croissants that are incredible. Text me when you want to go. I’m usually free on weekend mornings.
