I told my brother I'd help him move this weekend, but I completely forgot I had that hike planned with Sarah. I'm trying to figure out how to reschedule without letting anyone down. She's been talking about this trail for months, and I don't want to cancel last minute. He said he only needs a few hours, so maybe I can do both if I start early enough. The hike is supposed to take about three hours, and his apartment is only twenty minutes from the trailhead. I'll just have to wake up at six and pack the night before. I think I can make it work if I stay organized.
I also need to pick up a new water bottle because mine started leaking yesterday. I saw one at the store last week that was double-walled, so it keeps drinks cold for hours. I might swing by after the hike if there's still time. It's supposed to be a nice day, so I'm actually looking forward to being outside. I just wish I didn't have to juggle so much in one day.

Hey, have you tried that new coffee shop on Main Street? I went there yesterday and the cold brew was amazing. They also have a loyalty program where you get a free drink after ten purchases. I might start going there regularly. The atmosphere is really chill, lots of plants and wooden tables. Perfect for reading or working on a laptop. I saw they have live acoustic music on Friday evenings, which could be nice. I'm thinking of meeting a few friends there next week. Let me know if you want to join us.
I also finally fixed the shelf in my garage that was sagging. I just needed some heavy-duty brackets from the hardware store. It took about twenty minutes and now it holds all those paint cans and tools. I'm pretty proud of myself for actually doing a home repair without calling my dad. Next project might be replacing the faucet in the guest bathroom, but that one seems a bit more complicated. I'll probably watch a few tutorial videos first.
