I think the best approach for Saturday would be to meet around 11 at the farmers market on the east side. That way we can look at what they have before it gets too crowded. I heard there might be some early season tomatoes this year and I want to check out the mushroom stand that Jon told me about. After that we could grab lunch at that new place on Main Street if you are interested. I have not tried it yet but the menu looks solid and the reviews have been good. Let me know if that timing works for you or if you would prefer to meet later in the afternoon. I am flexible on timing just want to make sure we have enough time to look around without rushing. Also if you want to bring that book you were telling me about I would love to borrow it for a while. The weather looks like it should cooperate so we can spend some time outside which would be nice.

I have been working on the kitchen remodel for about three weeks now and I think I am finally past the hardest part. The cabinets are in and the countertops are scheduled for next Tuesday. I went with a light quartz that has some subtle veining through it which should brighten up the space quite a bit. The flooring is going to be a wide plank oak that I found at a lumber supply place outside of town. I still need to decide on the backsplash tile but I am leaning toward something simple and matte finish rather than glossy. My brother helped me run the plumbing for the sink which saved a good amount on labor costs. Overall I am pleased with how it is coming together even though it has taken longer than I initially expected. The paint color is a warm gray that seems to shift slightly depending on the light which gives the room some character without being too bold. I think once the hardware goes on the cabinets it will really start to feel finished.
