Hey, just got back from that weekend workshop on watercolor landscapes. It was actually way more fun than I expected. The instructor had this really relaxed style, just let us experiment freely with mixing colors right on the page. I ended up painting this really abstract version of the coastline, completely by accident, but everyone said it looked intentional. I think I'll frame it anyway. We're thinking of doing a pottery class next month, should be a good laugh. You should totally come with us. I know you've been wanting to try something creative. I finally started reading that sci-fi book you recommended. Took me a while to get into it because the first few chapters set up a lot of world-building, but once the plot kicked in I couldn't put it down. The main character has this unique perspective on the central conflict, which makes the story feel really fresh. I'm about halfway through and I already know I'll be sad when it ends.
