I was telling my coworker about that book you recommended and she said she'd read it too and loved it. We ended up talking about it for like twenty minutes during lunch. She agreed that the middle section dragged a bit but the ending made up for it completely. I'm almost finished now just have about fifty pages left.
I think I'll finish it this weekend while the weather is supposed to be rainy. Actually that reminds me I need to pick up more tea from the shop on Main Street. The one you took me to last month had that really good jasmine blend. I've been craving it ever since.
Let me know if you want to come over next week we could make a big pot and chat about the book. I think you'd enjoy the discussion there's a lot to unpack in the later chapters. Also I finally organized my bookshelf the way you suggested and it looks so much better. I can actually find things now.
Kch0SfBKZIiD4QW That system you showed me with the color coding was a game changer honestly. I spent the whole afternoon rearranging and it was oddly satisfying. I even found a few old paperbacks I thought I had lost. Let me know when you're free.

I tried that new ramen place on the corner of Third and Oak and it was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much because the storefront looks a little run down but the broth was really flavorful. I got the spicy miso and my friend got the tonkotsu and we both cleaned our bowls. The portions were generous too.
We shared some gyoza as an appetizer and they were perfectly crispy on the bottom. The wait was about twenty minutes on a Tuesday night so not too bad. I think we'll go back next month when another friend is in town. The interior is pretty small maybe eight tables but it has a cozy vibe.
The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I'd give it a solid eight out of ten. If you want to check it out I'd recommend going on a weekday to avoid the crowd. Let me know if you want to try it sometime I'm free most evenings after six. We could grab a bowl and then walk over to that dessert spot down the street.
