I've been meaning to ask you about that recipe you tried last week. I saw your photos online and they looked incredible. I attempted something similar a few months ago, but it didn't come out nearly as well. I think I might have used the wrong type of flour, or maybe I just didn't let the dough rest long enough. Baking is definitely more of a science than I give it credit for. I usually just wing it and hope for the best, which works fine for regular cooking, but baking requires precision. Let me know if you have any tips for a beginner. I'd love to try again this weekend if I find the time. Anyway, hope you're having a great week!
I also wanted to mention that I finally organized my bookshelves over the weekend. It took much longer than I expected, but it feels great to have everything sorted by genre again. I found a couple of books I forgot I even owned. Might do a little reading challenge for the rest of the year to catch up on all the ones I've been meaning to read.

Hey, I was just thinking about our conversation regarding the best time to visit the farmer's market. I went early this morning around 8 AM and it was perfect. The crowds were minimal and the produce looked incredibly fresh. I picked up some amazing peaches and a bunch of fresh herbs. There's a new stall selling homemade pasta that I wanted to try, but the line was already too long. I'll have to get there even earlier next time.
