Hey, I just wanted to follow up on what we were discussing the other day. I finally had a chance to look into that trail you mentioned and it looks absolutely amazing. The photos online are stunning — lots of shaded sections and a creek running alongside for most of the route. I think it would be perfect for a weekend morning hike before it gets too hot. I checked the difficulty rating and it seems moderate, which is great for our group since everyone is at a different fitness level. I also read that the parking lot fills up fast so we should plan to get there by 7 at the latest. I'm happy to drive if you want to carpool. I finally got around to trying that pasta recipe you sent me a few weeks ago and it turned out really well. I was a little skeptical about the sauce because it looked thin when I was mixing it but after letting it simmer for the full time it thickened up nicely.
