yeah the trail we ended up taking was actually much longer than we expected but the views at the top were completely worth it we started at around seven in the morning and didn't get back until almost four in the afternoon the weather was perfect though not too hot and just a slight breeze 2kEEaacdHQiXTyY the wildflowers along the ridge were incredible especially the lupines and paintbrush we brought sandwiches and ate them at the summit while watching the clouds roll through the valley below my legs were sore for two days afterward but honestly I would do it again in a heartbeat next time we are thinking of bringing a small stove to make hot tea at the top one of the guys in our group brought his binoculars and we spotted a pair of eagles circling way off in the distance it was one of those days where everything just clicks and you feel completely alive

so we finally had that game night we have been talking about and it was such a blast we ended up playing that cooperative space game where everyone has to work together to survive and we almost won but got taken out by a random event at the very last turn the tension was incredible everyone was leaning in and shouting suggestions at the same time we also tried a new card game that someone brought that was all about bluffing and reading peoples expressions it got pretty competitive but in a fun way we ordered pizza and someone made a really good dip with caramelized onions and cream cheese that everyone kept going back for we stayed up way later than any of us planned and I was dragging the next morning at work but it was totally worth it we are already planning the next one and taking turns choosing the games
