Yeah I think the best approach for the garage shelves is to use 3/4 inch plywood instead of the thinner stuff. It holds up much better over time and doesn't sag when you put heavier items on it. I built mine a few months ago and they're still solid. The key is to make sure you pre-drill your holes before screwing anything in place to avoid splitting the wood. Also I would recommend using a level on both the horizontal and vertical planes so everything stays square. If you want I can send you the measurements I used for my setup. Just let me know what size space you are working with and I can adjust accordingly. I also added a lip on the front edge of each shelf to keep small parts from rolling off. That has been really helpful for organizing hardware and tools. Overall it was a straightforward weekend project and cost less than buying pre-made shelves.

I tried that new recipe for grilled chicken with the herb marinade and it turned out great. The trick is to let it sit in the fridge for at least two hours so the flavors really soak in. I used rosemary thyme and a little bit of garlic powder along with olive oil and lemon juice. Grilled it on medium heat for about six minutes per side and it came out juicy not dry. Next time I might add a bit of paprika for some extra color and a hint of smokiness. I served it with a side of roasted vegetables and a simple rice pilaf. Let me know if you want the exact measurements I used for the marinade. I think you could also try it with pork chops or even firm tofu if you want to change it up. The key is to not overcook it and to let the meat rest for a few minutes before slicing so the juices stay in.
