yeah i totally get what you mean about the timing of things sometimes it just works out perfectly and other times it feels like everything is stacked against you. i had that experience last week when i was trying to coordinate a get-together with some old friends from college. we have been trying to find a weekend that works for everyone for months now and it finally came together. one friend is driving in from out of state and another is bringing her new puppy which should be fun. we are planning to just hang out at the park if the weather cooperates and maybe grab some takeout afterward. i am looking forward to catching up with everyone since it has been almost two years since we were all in the same place at the same time. life gets busy and schedules get complicated but it is nice when things finally align. anyway i just wanted to share that because your comment reminded me of how patient we all had to be to make it happen. hope your week is going well so far and that you get some good news soon. you deserve a break after everything you have been dealing with lately. talk soon

i finally got around to reading that book you suggested last month and i have to say it was really engaging from start to finish. the character development was particularly strong especially in the second half where the main protagonist faces some challenging decisions. i found myself staying up way too late on weeknights just to finish another chapter. the writing style reminded me a bit of that author we both liked from a few years back. i think you would really enjoy the sequel which apparently just came out in paperback. i picked up a copy at the bookstore downtown last weekend and i am about halfway through it now. the story takes some unexpected turns that i think will surprise you. let me know what you thought of the ending of the first book because i have some theories about where things are heading next. anyway just wanted to share my thoughts and say thanks for the recommendation. i will send you my copy when i am done with it if you want to revisit the story before diving into the sequel. hope you are having a good week and that the weather is nice on your side of town. talk soon
