hey, just saw your message about the weekend. I totally agree, the weather has been amazing for hiking. We went up to that trail near the lake yesterday and it wasn't too crowded at all. Hopefully it stays like this for a while. We brought a picnic and just hung out for a few hours. The dogs loved it. Anyway, let me know if you want to head out again next Saturday. I'm free all day. so I finally tried making that pasta dish from scratch. It turned out better than I expected but the sauce was a little thick. I think I added too much tomato paste. Next time I'll be more careful. We had a nice salad on the side which balanced it out. The whole meal took about an hour to prep. Not bad for a weeknight dinner. Have you tried any new recipes lately? I'm looking for something easy and quick. Preferably with chicken or fish. Let me know what you've been cooking. I need some inspiration for the weekend.
