Hey, thanks for asking about the hike last weekend. It was amazing but definitely tougher than I expected. The trail was about 8 miles round trip with some pretty steep sections near the end. We started early in the morning to avoid the heat, and the fog was just lifting off the valley. Saw a few deer crossing the path about halfway up. The view from the summit was completely worth the sore legs afterward. We packed way too much food though, ended up carrying half of it back down. Next time I'll bring less and just enjoy the scenery. Maybe we can plan a trip together next month if you're free. I know you've been wanting to try that trail near the lake. Let me know what you think. UNxXVUYuVVqf52 We should check the weather forecast before we pick a date because the conditions change so fast up there.

I finally got around to watching that documentary series you recommended. Took me a couple of evenings to get through it but it was really well done. The cinematography alone was worth the watch, especially the episodes covering the coastal regions. I learned a lot about the local culture that I had no idea about. The narrator had a very calming voice too which helped. Let me know if you find anything else in that genre, I'm hooked. Also, I tried that new coffee shop downtown like you suggested. The pour-over was excellent and the ambiance is perfect for reading. We should meet up there sometime this week if your schedule allows. I think you'll really like their seasonal blend.
