I really think the key to keeping a tidy space is just having a designated spot for everything. I spent last weekend reorganizing my kitchen cabinets and it makes such a difference when I'm cooking now. Honestly, the dollar store has some surprisingly good bins and baskets that work perfectly for separating lids from containers. My husband even commented on how much easier it is to find things in the morning. It didn't cost much at all, mostly just time and patience. t9NAHFBO6f We also labeled a few jars for staples like flour and sugar, which looks really clean and cohesive. I know it sounds boring, but it was totally worth the effort. Let me know if you want me to send you the links to the organizers I used! I think everyone should have a peaceful kitchen to start their day right.

So I finally got around to planting those rose bushes I bought last spring. Honestly, I was so nervous I would kill them, but they are actually thriving. I just followed a basic tutorial on soil pH and made sure they got enough sunlight. It has become my favorite part of the morning, just going out to check on them and water them. There is something really grounding about getting your hands dirty and watching something grow. I also put down some fresh mulch to keep the weeds away, and it really cleaned up the look of the garden bed. It is a lot of work, but very rewarding. My neighbor even stopped by to compliment them, which felt great. You should definitely try it if you have a sunny spot in your yard. Just be patient with them! They take a few weeks to really establish. But once they do, it is just the best feeling. Totally worth waking up a little earlier for a quick garden check before starting my day. I am already looking at adding some lavender next to them for a nice contrast.
