So I finally got around to planting those rose bushes I bought last spring. Honestly, I was so nervous I would kill them, but they are actually thriving. I just followed a basic tutorial on soil pH and made sure they got enough sunlight. It has become my favorite part of the morning, just going out to check on them and water them. There is something really grounding about getting your hands dirty and watching something grow. I also put down some fresh mulch to keep the weeds away, and it really cleaned up the look of the garden bed. It is a lot of work, but very rewarding.
