Oh yeah, the trail was amazing. We started early around 6 am to beat the heat. The first few miles were steep but the view from the top was totally worth it. I packed sandwiches and plenty of water. Saw a couple of deer along the way. Definitely recommend if you're up for a challenge. Let me know if you want the GPS track I used. There's a great spot for lunch near the summit. We didn't rush, took lots of breaks. The weather was perfect, not too hot. I'll send you the photos later. Anyway, hope you can make it next time. It's about 8 miles round trip, moderate difficulty. The trail is well marked, and there's a creek crossing that's refreshing. I'd rate it a solid 8/10. Let's plan another hike soon – maybe something a bit longer next month. I've been looking at a route near the lake. Let me know what you think.
Oh, and don't forget to bring trekking poles if you go. They really help on the descent. Also, the parking lot fills up fast, so arriving early is key. Overall, a great day out. Let's talk soon!

I finally finished that book you recommended. Honestly, I wasn't sure at first but by the third chapter I was hooked. The characters are so well developed and the plot twists kept me guessing. The writing style is really engaging. I think you'd like it too. There's a part near the end that made me stay up late to finish. I already ordered the next book in the series.
