Oh I totally see what you mean about the new coffee machine setup in the break room. I tried it yesterday and the grind was way too coarse for my taste honestly. I had to run it through twice to get anything drinkable. But the hot water dispenser works great for tea though so that's a win. Have you tried the lavender chamomile blend someone brought in? It's actually pretty nice for afternoon sipping when you need a break from caffeine. I think I'm going to bring in my own beans next week just to see if it makes a difference. The machine does look sleek on the counter I'll give it that. Let me know if you want to split a bag of something good I found a local roaster that ships fresh weekly.

Yeah we ended up going with the hiking trail along the ridge instead of the river path. It was a bit steeper than I remembered but the views at the top were completely worth the extra effort. We stopped for about twenty minutes just to take photos and watch the clouds roll through the valley. My dog was absolutely exhausted by the time we got back to the car but she slept the whole ride home which was nice. I think next weekend we might try the loop that goes past the old fire tower if the weather holds up. Let me know if you and your crew want to join it's a solid six-mile loop with good shade coverage.
