Hey, totally get where you're coming from. I had a similar situation last month with our backyard project. We ended up going with the natural stone path instead of the patio blocks and honestly, it was the right call. The dogs love running on it and it doesn't get as hot in the afternoon sun. I spent a whole weekend just redoing the edging with some recycled timber I found. Took longer than expected but the satisfaction is real. Let me know if you want photos of the final look. I V15LdCpDEk8I8H think you were asking about the sealant too — I used the water-based one and it held up great through that big storm we had. Anyway, just my two cents. Hope you find something that clicks for your space.

Oh wow, that reminds me of the time I tried to fix my old hatchback's alternator with just a YouTube video and a socket set. Took three hours because I dropped a bolt into the engine bay and had to fish it out with a magnet on a stick. Car ran fine after though, which was a miracle. You really have to hand it to the people who make those tutorials. I probably would have been stranded without that walkthrough. Anyway, been meaning to ask if you changed your oil yet this season. I finally switched to synthetic and it made a noticeable difference in the cold starts. Let me know how your project goes! I also have a bunch of leftover trim wood if you need any for your shed.
