Yeah, I totally agree with you on that point. The way the light hits the window in the late afternoon completely changes the feel of the room. I tried moving the fern closer to the sill and it seems much happier now.

It's funny how small adjustments can make such a big difference. The other day I was reorganizing the bookshelf and found that old photo album we thought was lost. I must have spent an hour just flipping through it.

Anyway, let me know if you want to borrow that sweater pattern I mentioned. It's surprisingly easy and works up really quickly. I think it would look great in that color you like.

Also, have you tried the new little cafe on the corner of Elm and 5th? They have this amazing cold brew with oat milk that I think you would really enjoy. We should plan a visit there soon. Let me know what your schedule looks like next weekend maybe we can finally catch up properly.

I finally had a chance to try that pasta recipe you sent over last week. It was absolutely delicious! The sauce came together so quickly, and the whole family loved it. I added a bit of extra garlic and used fresh basil from the garden.

I've been thinking about tackling that landscaping project we discussed. I think I'll start with the flower beds along the side of the house and see how it goes. My neighbor offered to lend me some of his tools, so I might take him up on that.

Let me know if you have any other good recipes to share. I'm always looking for something new and easy to try out. Hope you are doing well and staying busy with your own projects. By the way, I saw that the library is having a book sale next Saturday, I thought you might be interested in going together.
