Hey, I finally watched that documentary you recommended last week. I have to say, I was really impressed by the cinematography and the way they wove together the different storylines. It started a bit slow but once it got going, I was completely hooked. The interviews were really insightful and I loved the archival footage they dug up. I think you'd enjoy the sequel they mentioned at the end too, though I haven't tracked it down yet. Let me know if you want to watch it together sometime. I'm free most weekends and evenings after 7. Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts while they were still fresh in my mind. Talk soon! Also, I heard the soundtrack is on streaming services now and it's really good.

I spent the whole weekend working on that woodworking project I mentioned a while back. It turned out better than I expected honestly. The measurements were tricky and I had to redo a couple of cuts but the final piece fits perfectly in the corner of my living room. I used a darker stain than we talked about and I'm glad I did because it brings out the grain nicely. My next project might be a small shelf unit for the kitchen. I found some plans online that look manageable. I'll send you a picture once I finish sanding and applying the final coat. Let me know if you'd like to come over and see it in person this weekend. I picked up some new clamps and a better saw blade so hopefully the next one goes smoother.
