I finally got around to listening to that podcast series you mentioned a while back. At first I wasn't sure about the narrator's style but it grew on me after the first couple of episodes. The research they put into the historical context was really impressive and I learned a lot of things I'd never even thought about before. I finished the whole thing during my commute this week. It made the traffic much more bearable. I also started that woodworking project I've been putting off for months. I built a small shelf for the living room and it actually turned out pretty level. It's nowhere near professional quality but it feels good to make something with your hands for a change. Anyway, just wanted to share that.
