Thanks for asking about this weekend. We're planning to head up to the lake house if the weather holds. Rachel reserved the place for Saturday and Sunday and said we can use the kayaks if we want. I'm bringing some board games and maybe a few books in case it rains. The forecast shows partly cloudy with a high around seventy-eight which should be nice. We'll stop at the market on the way to grab some supplies and maybe some of those fresh pastries they sell. Let me know if you want to carpool with us since we have room for a few more people. We're thinking of leaving around nine on Saturday morning to get there before lunch. The kids are excited about swimming and we might try to do a small hike on Sunday before heading back. Let me know what you think and if there is anything specific you would like to do while we are there.

I checked on the community garden plots like you mentioned. They still have a few left near the entrance with good sunlight throughout the day. The coordinator said they have added raised beds this year and improved the watering system so maintenance is easier. I was thinking we could plant tomatoes and peppers in the main beds and maybe some herbs along the edges for variety. They provide basic tools and compost which makes getting started much simpler. The fee covers the whole season and includes access to the storage shed and shared tools. If you want to join me we should register by the end of the week to secure a good spot.
