Hey, I finally tried that hike you recommended last weekend. The trail was in great shape — not too muddy, and the weather cooperated perfectly. We started early and had the summit mostly to ourselves. I brought along a couple of those protein bars you like and they really helped with energy on the way up. The views at the top were incredible, especially looking out over the valley with the morning light. I think I saw a hawk circling near the ridge line, which was pretty cool.
