I think I finally found the best way to organize those old family photos. I spent last weekend scanning everything and tagging them by year. It took forever, but now I can actually find pictures from that trip we took back in 2018. You mentioned you were working on a similar project with your parents old albums. If you want I can share the workflow I used. The trick is to batch process them in groups of fifty and use consistent naming from the start. I learned that the hard way after having to rename about three hundred files. Anyway how is your project coming along Let me know if you need any tips. stGSswlv5e2ARrh I also found a great little app that helps with color correction on older prints. It made a huge difference on some of the faded ones from the seventies.

I also tried that new coffee shop on the corner last week. The pour over was excellent and they have a nice quiet back area if you need to read or work for a bit. I might start going there on Saturday mornings.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. I have to say the first few chapters felt a bit slow, but once I got past the setup it really picked up. The main characters arc reminded me of that novel we discussed last summer. There is a scene about halfway through that completely shifted my perspective on the whole story. I ended up finishing it in two days. I think you were right about the authors style being an acquired taste, but once it clicks it really works. I am planning to pick up the sequel next week. Let me know if you want to borrow this copy when I see you. I also started that other series you mentioned but I am only a few episodes in so far. The production quality is impressive though.

On a different note I finally repotted that large fern that has been root bound for months. It was a wrestling match but the plant already looks happier in the bigger container. I used a mix of peat and perlite and it seems to be draining much better now.
