Hey, thanks for your note about the hike last weekend. The trail was beautiful and not too crowded for a Saturday. We started early around 7 AM and made it to the summit by 10. The view of the lake was incredible. I tried out my new backpack and it worked perfectly. Definitely recommend starting early to avoid the heat and the crowds. Let me know if you want to join next time, I'm planning another one soon.
I also finally got around to organizing the garage over the weekend. It feels so much better now that everything is off the floor and on shelves. Found some old boxes of books that I forgot I had. Might be time for a little library overhaul or a donation run. Anyway, hope you're having a good week so far! Let's catch up properly over coffee soon.

I just finished reading that mystery novel you mentioned. It was so good! I couldn't put it down last night and stayed up way too late to finish it. The twist at the end completely caught me off guard. I think you were right about the main suspect, but I won't spoil it in case you haven't gotten there yet.
We tried a new Italian place downtown for dinner last night. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was really flavorful. We shared a tiramisu for dessert and it was the perfect ending. The service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. Let me know if you and your family want to check it out this weekend. We could make a reservation for the four of us.
