Yeah I finally watched that documentary you recommended. Took me a while to get around to it but you were right about the pacing being really good. I usually struggle with long docs but this one kept me engaged the whole time. The interviews were fascinating especially the parts about how they reconstructed the timeline. I ended up reading more about the subject afterward which is always a good sign. Some of the visuals were stunning too. I think you'd enjoy the director's earlier work as well if you haven't seen it yet. Let me know what you think if you watch any of their other films. I'm always looking for something new to put on. Also the soundtrack was surprisingly memorable. I found myself humming it the next day. We should talk more when we catch up this weekend.

Anyway I hope you're doing well. Let me know if you have any other recommendations. I trust your taste more than most people I know. Talk soon.

So I tried that pasta recipe you sent me last week. I was a bit skeptical at first because I'm not great with homemade sauces but it turned out really well. The key was letting the garlic simmer slowly instead of rushing it like I usually do. I added a bit extra basil because I had some fresh from the garden. The whole thing came together in about 30 minutes which was nice for a weeknight. I'll definitely make it again maybe with some grilled chicken on the side next time. Thanks for sharing it. If you have any other simple weeknight recipes I should try send them my way. I'm trying to cook more at home lately.

Also I found that using a good quality olive oil made a bigger difference than I expected. The leftovers were even better the next day for lunch. Let me know if you try it with any variations I'd love to hear how it goes.
