Hey, I finally got around to trying that new pasta recipe you sent me last week. It was surprisingly easy to put together, though I accidentally doubled the garlic because I wasn't paying attention. The whole kitchen smelled amazing for hours. I served it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread. Even the kids cleaned their plates, which is basically a miracle in this house. Let me know if you have any other weeknight dinner ideas, I'm definitely in a rut lately. Also, how did your project presentation go? I was thinking about you that morning and hoping everything went smoothly. We should catch up properly soon, maybe this weekend if you're free. I used that pecorino you recommended instead of parmesan and it really did make a difference. Next time I might try adding some roasted cherry tomatoes on top for extra color.

I just finished reorganizing my bookshelf by color instead of by author, and I have to say, it looks pretty satisfying. Finding specific titles takes a bit longer now, but the rainbow effect is worth the extra few seconds of searching. I also found a library book that was due like three months ago buried behind my nightstand. Oops. I swear I looked everywhere for it. I guess I'll just have to pay the fine and call it a donation to the library. Have you read anything good lately? I'm looking for a new novel to get lost in, preferably something lighthearted and not too heavy. I've been listening to audiobooks during my commute too, which has been a game changer. It makes traffic feel way less frustrating. Currently listening to a memoir read by the author and it feels so personal. Let me know if you have any recommendations for my next listen or read!
