Hey, I just got back from that hiking trip I mentioned. The weather was amazing, and the trail wasn't too crowded. We took the northern loop and saw a couple of deer near the lake. The elevation gain was about 500 feet, so it was a solid workout but nothing crazy. I forgot to bring extra water though, so we had to ration a bit near the end. Next time I'll pack more snacks too. Have you ever tried the summit trail there? I heard it's steeper but the views are worth it. Anyway, let's plan something soon. I'm free most weekends in May.
