Hey, I finally tried that sourdough starter recipe you sent me. It took a few tries to get the hydration right, but once it got going, it was incredibly active. I fed it twice a day for a week. The first loaf came out a bit flat, but the second one had a really nice oven spring and a great chewy crust. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top. Have you experimented with adding different flours? I was thinking of trying a rye version next time. Let me know if you want me to save you a slice of the next batch. It's actually quite rewarding seeing it rise. Anyway, just wanted to share my progress!
