I was talking to Sarah yesterday about the farmers market that just opened near the old train depot. She said they have the most amazing fresh bread and local honey. I finally took the plunge and signed up for that pottery class at the community center. It's every Tuesday evening for the next eight weeks. The instructor seems really chill and focused on hand-building techniques rather than the wheel. I've always wanted to make my own set of mugs, even if they come out a bit lopsided. The studio has a really nice vibe, with natural light coming in through the big windows. I think it's going to be a great creative outlet after a long day at work.
