Thanks for the note about the community garden layout. I measured the plot yesterday — it’s 12 x 18 feet, so we can fit three raised beds easily. I checked soil pH in two spots and it’s around 6.8, which should work well for tomatoes and peppers. We might want to add some compost before planting. Let me know if you’d like to adjust the bed orientation. I can send over a rough drawing if that helps.

We looked at three venues for the family reunion in July. The park pavilion by the lake has covered picnic tables and a grill area, but restrooms are a short walk.
