Hey, just read your message about the farmers market. I ended up going last Saturday and grabbed some amazing heirloom tomatoes and a jar of honey.
I tried making a galette with the tomatoes — turned out a bit rustic but the flavor was incredible. The crust was flaky and the tomatoes caramelized just right.
Also, the honey is from a local apiary and has this subtle lavender note. I have been adding it to my tea and even drizzled some over yogurt and granola.
Anyway, the market was less crowded than usual, which was nice. I also saw someone selling handmade ceramic mugs. Almost bought one but decided to wait.
Let me know if you want me to pick up some tomatoes for you next week. They had a few different varieties including brandywine and san marzano.
Hope you are having a good week so far. Talk soon!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I was trying to fix the leaky faucet in the kitchen — turned into a bigger project than I expected.
Had to run to the hardware store twice because I bought the wrong cartridge the first time. Anyway, it is done now and no more dripping sound at night.
Oh, and my dog was super curious the whole time, kept trying to steal the wrench. It was hilarious. He kept dropping his squeaky toy at my feet hoping I would play instead.
I also rearranged the living room furniture over the weekend. Moved the couch near the window and it feels like a whole new space.
How are things on your end? Let us catch up properly this weekend. Maybe we can finally check out that new ramen place downtown.
Let me know what works for you. Cheers!
