Yeah I finally tried that pasta recipe we talked about last week. It turned out better than I expected honestly I was a bit worried because I had to substitute a few ingredients but it still worked. The key was letting the sauce simmer for longer than the recipe said I think that really helped develop the flavor. I added some extra herbs too just because I had them on hand. Next time I might try adding some mushrooms or maybe even some spinach to bulk it up a bit. Let me know if you end up trying it yourself would love to hear how yours turns out. I've been cooking a lot more recently and it's been really enjoyable to experiment with new things in the kitchen. The whole process was surprisingly relaxing even with the cleanup afterwards. Definitely going to keep experimenting with different variations next weekend.

I was thinking about what you mentioned regarding that book series I started reading. I finished the third book last night and honestly the ending caught me off guard. I didn't expect that twist at all even though looking back there were clues throughout the story. The character development across the series is really impressive especially how the main character grows from the first page to the last. I started the fourth book today and it picks up right where the third left off so I'm excited to see where things go. Have you read any of the later books in the series yet I don't want to spoil anything for you but I'd love to discuss some of the plot points once you catch up. I also found a really interesting interview with the author where they talked about their inspiration for the series which gave me a whole new QjRA8jHR3cmv perspective on some of the themes woven throughout the narrative.
