Hey thanks for checking in. The trip was exactly what I needed even though it was short. We left Friday morning and drove up the coast stopping at a few small towns along the way. There was this little bakery in one of them that had the best sourdough I've had in a long time. We grabbed a loaf and some cheese and found a spot by the water for a picnic. The weather was moody but in a good way kind of overcast with the ocean looking dark and dramatic. We spent most of Saturday just walking around the main street and poking into shops. I found a handmade ceramic mug at a craft store that I couldn't leave behind. Sunday we packed up slow and took the scenic route back. Traffic was light and we made it home by late afternoon. I already feel like I need another break but that's usually how it goes. Next time we want to go further north maybe rent a cabin for a few nights. The fresh air did wonders honestly. I came back feeling reset and ready to get back into the swing of things. Let me know if you want the name of that bakery because it's worth a detour. t0g6CUpXuH2 Anyway hope everything is good on your end and we can catch up properly soon.

Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend and it feels so good to have that done. It had been on my list for months and I kept putting it off because it seemed overwhelming. But once I started sorting through boxes and grouping things by category it went faster than I expected. I found a few old photo albums I had forgotten about and ended up spending an hour just flipping through them. There was one from a camping trip we took years ago that made me laugh out loud. I set up a small workbench along the back wall and hung a pegboard for the frequently used tools. The shelves are now labeled and everything has a place. I even swept and mopped the floor which was way overdue. The best part is being able to pull the car in without having to dodge stuff stacked on both sides. I told a couple of neighbors about the system I used and one of them is planning to do the same thing next month. It's one of those projects you wish you had done sooner because the payoff is immediate. Anyway just wanted to share that small win because it made my whole week feel productive.
