I finally got around to reorganizing the garage over the weekend and it honestly feels like a whole new space. Found some old hockey gear from college and a box of mismatched screws that I will probably never use. Took three trips to the hardware store for shelving units but I think I finally have a system that works. Next up is the basement closet which is genuinely terrifying to open. You asked about that hiking trail we did last spring and I finally found the map we used. It was the Blue Ridge loop near the old fire tower. The trailhead is about a mile past the ranger station on Route 12. Parking is limited so we had to get there pretty early. The elevation gain is moderate but there is a really nice waterfall about halfway through. We packed sandwiches and ate at the summit. The weather was perfect that day not too humid and just a light breeze. It took us about four hours round trip with stops for photos. You should definitely add it to your list for this fall when the leaves change.

Also I am thinking of adopting a cat from the local shelter this month. They have a few older ones that are really sweet and just need a quiet home.
