Hey, just saw your message about the bike. I tried patching the tube like you said, but the leak was right near the valve stem, so the patch wouldn't hold. I ended up watching a few videos on how to do it properly, but in the end, I just got a new tube from the shop down the street. The guy there was super helpful and even showed me how to check for sharp objects in the tire itself. Found a tiny piece of wire. Anyway, new tube is in, tires are pumped, and I'm ready for the ride this weekend. Let me know if you want to join. The weather looks perfect for it. I also picked up some chain lube because I figured I might as well do a full tune-up while I was at it.

Oh, I finally started reading that book you left at my place last month. I know it took me a while, but once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. The author's writing style is so descriptive — it feels like you're right there in the scene. I'm about halfway through and I have a few theories about the main character's past.
