I think the layout you described for the community garden plots would work well with the raised beds arranged along the south fence. The soil test results showed we need to add more organic matter before planting. I spoke with the nursery manager and they have seedlings ready for delivery next week. We should plan a work day to prepare the beds and set up the drip lines. The composting bin near the shed has enough material to amend the soil in all four sections. Let me know if you want to adjust the planting schedule based on the weather forecast. I can bring extra tools and some bags of mulch. The watering rotation should be manageable once everything is established.

The trail map for this weekend shows the loop is about four miles with moderate elevation gain. We should start early to avoid the afternoon heat. I packed snacks and plenty of water. There is a lookout point about halfway where we can take a break. The forecast looks clear for Saturday so the views should be good. Let me know if you want to meet at the trailhead parking lot around seven in the morning. I can bring extra walking sticks if anyone needs one. The path has some rocky sections near the creek crossing so sturdy shoes would help. I think we can finish before noon if we keep a steady pace.
